Our Mission
Camp Crossroads is dedicated to providing a musical theater opportunity to underserved children and teens in our rural community and surrounding areas.
We strive to build connections between like-minded students across the North Country. Students will build real-life skills including leadership, teamwork, goal-setting, and communication in a fast-paced work environment.
While Camp Crossroads is a new organization, our team - Elizabeth Cordes, Danielle LaMere, and Kendall Davison - have many years of experience working with musical theater in the North Country in performing, directing, and choreography. All three of us have benefited from involvement in summer musical theater camps and have seen the positive impact that these programs have on children and teens.
We will produce a fully-staged musical culminating in four performances including two touring shows. In addition to cultivating students’ musical, dance, and acting skills they will have the opportunity to be involved in some of the technical aspects including costuming, set building, and prop construction.
Our program will serve students currently in grades 7-12 in Tupper Lake and surrounding communities including, but not limited to, Long Lake, Saranac Lake, Indian Lake, Newcomb, and Blue Mountain Lake. Summer residents to the area are welcome to participate as well.
